16-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized After Suicide Attempt in Kavango West

Karangana Village, Kavango West – A 16-year-old girl from Karangana village was rushed to Bunya Health Center on Friday after reportedly consuming a mixture of medications in what was suspected as an attempted suicide.

The girl, who is three months pregnant, is currently receiving medical treatment and counseling at Bunya Health Center.

Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga, speaking on behalf of the Namibian Police Force, revealed that the incident followed an argument between the girl and her boyfriend.
