Oshivelo, January 17, 2025 – One person has tragically lost their life, and six others sustained serious injuries in a car accident this morning on the Tsumeb-Oshivelo road. The incident occurred around 11:00 AM when a Toyota seven-seater sedan overturned approximately 30 kilometers before reaching Oshivelo.
According to preliminary reports, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to overturn and come to a stop upside down. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be determined.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene promptly, and the six injured passengers, were transported to the Tsumeb State Hospital for urgent medical care.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
