Miss Australia emerged as the winner of Miss Earth 2024. Despite not clinching the title, Haimbala’s achievement marks a significant milestone for Namibia in international pageantry.

Haimbala, radiating confidence and pride, captivated the audience with her national costume inspired by the cheetah, a nod to Namibia’s status as home to the largest wild cheetah population globally. Reflecting on her journey, she expressed gratitude to her fellow Namibians for their unwavering support.

“Hello Namibia, this is your top 12 contender. I want to say thank you so much for your support. You are the reason I made it this far. Being in the top 12 is a big deal for us, as Namibia is a small country when it comes to pageantry. But I am really proud of us,” said Haimbala. “The experience was incredible, and I can’t wait to come back home and share my experiences with all of you.”

She also shared words of encouragement for aspiring Miss Namibia contestants: “For future applicants, the time is now. You have to apply and start preparing. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and you won’t regret it. The Miss Namibia organisation is the best.”
Haimbala credited the Miss Namibia Organisation, led by CEO Umbi Karuaihe-Upi and Public Relations Manager Beaulah Boois-Beukes, for their support throughout her journey, which she described as stress-free.
