In a tragic incident today, a resident of Ngonga village, Zambezi Region. John Sakubenya, lost his life in a hit-and-run accident in the vicinity of Namushasha. Authorities reported that Sakubenya was discovered lying on the road with severe head injuries and a fractured right arm, indicating the violent nature of the impact.
Local law enforcement officials believe that a vehicle, which is yet to be identified, struck Sakubenya before fleeing the scene shortly after the incident. Sakubenya succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the vehicle involved in the incident or the circumstances surrounding the accident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
