Two 18-year-old suspects, Joackim Kanyanga and John Mario, have been denied bail by the Rundu Magistrate’s Court. They are accused of killing 17-year-old Paulus Kahili and robbing him of his cellphone on 14 March 2025.
Kahili’s body was found near John Mutorwa Road, close to the Puma Filling Station. The police say the attack happened in broad daylight.
The suspects were arrested on 28 March and remain in custody. Their next court date is scheduled for 13 May 2025 as the investigation continues.
